Mateusz Moleda

With his performance at the formal function of the Federal Government on the Day of German Unity on 3 October 2007, Mateusz Mol?da commanded attention throughout Germany. The concert was broadcast live by the 2nd German TV channel ZDF. Performing the Fantasy in C minor for Piano, Choir and Orchestra, Op. 80 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Mateusz Mol?da continued his cooperation with the Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle symphony orchestra and its principal conductor Matthias Foremny, through which he has received important musical impulses over the past two years.

The German-Polish pianist, born in Dresden in 1986, has been studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hanover in the class of Prof. Arie Vardi since 2006. Before that he was a student at the Saxon Special School of Music in the class of Prof. Winfried Apel. Since 2008, Mateusz Mol?da has been continuing his studies in the area of historical keyboard instruments with the cembalo and fortepiano in cooperation with Prof. Zvi Meniker.

Concert tours with piano and chamber music evenings as well as concerts with renowned European and international orchestras have already led the young pianist to many countries of the world, for instance, to France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Russia, South Korea, Japan, the United Arab Emirates as well as to South Africa.

Mateusz Mol?da was signed by the classical music label arrjayclassics in 2008 and published his new CD "Flügelschwingen" in 2010.
