Zlata Chochieva
Zlata Chochieva was
born in 1985 in Moscow. She began to study music, when
she was five at Flier Music School (teacher: N. Dolenko)
In 2000 Zlata entered the Central Special Music School
under the Moscow Conservatoire (teacher: M. Pletnev).
Since
2003 she has been studying at the Moscow Conservatoire
(teacher: Prof. P. Nersessian).
She made her first public performance at the age of 8
at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire with orchestra.
Since that time Zlata has been performed solo and with
orchestras on the stages of best music-halls in Moscow,
Russia and abroad (Italy, Denmark, Spain, Poland, France,
and Germany).
Plays with philharmonic orchestras including
several performances with “Russian National Orchestra” on
the stage of the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory (conductor
M. Pletnev), “Danish Tivoli orchestra”,
“The Munich chamber orchestra”. Participated in
the different Music Festivals
(“Easter concert” in Moscow, “ARD Festival” in
Munich etc.).
She is a winner of: Agropoly piano competition (Italy,
1996); Copenhagen international competition (Denmark,
1998); Shimanowsky international competition (Poland,
2005) and Frechilla-Zuloaga piano competition (Spain,
2005). 3rd prize-winner of Tivoli piano competition
(Copenhagen, 2006), semifinalist of ARD competition,
also received two special prizes, one of them for the
best interpretation of Mozart’s concerto (Germany,
2006).
A recipient of grant from the Russian Performance
Art Foundation
Played on the radio and TV in Russia and abroad. Also
has several CDs issued in Russia and Poland.
Zlata is
Honoured Artist of Alania Republic.
